Report: Russian oil shipments to Slovakia halt over blackout

PRAGUE, Nov 24 (PRIME) -- Russian oil pumping to Slovakia through the Druzhba pipeline was suspended on Thursday due to a blackout in the energy system, channel TA3 reported.

"According to our information, due to an electric power outage on Thursday oil shipments via the southern line of the Druzhba pipeline from Ukraine to Slovakia were suspended," the channel reported.

Pumping to the Czech Republic continued because of sufficient operating reserves in Slovakia, according to operator MERO.
